Easter, Beach, April

All of these pictures are from April.  I'm a little behind.
 Reading
Grandma and Grandpa Tanner visited for Easter weekend.  Dillan's opening some Easter presents from them.

Showing off his new stuff, and Hazel's already trying to steal it!
Looking lovely for church with my scarf on.
That is Dillan's hoody.  She brought it to me and wanted me to put it on her, and she loved it!  Since then she has also worn his socks and his pants.  Little sister already borrowing clothes.
Dillan's pirate patch.  I feel pretty good about making that for him, easiest dress-up prop ever.

She didn't think this one through.  She got really upset when she realized she couldn't actually sit up.

 Ha ha ha ha!
Awesome beach trip!  Perfect weather.  Both kids loved it.  She didn't even move when I got her out of the stroller, she sat down immediately and explored the sand.  It was her first time at the beach since being a baby.  Hazel even laid down and was "swimming" in the sand.

Is this how Chip and Dale started?

              Gymnastics: Dillan loves it!

What should have been posted in March

Sorry, we never figured out how to get the videos to load.  So you don't get to see them anymore!  In all these pictures Hazel is about 14 months old.

They were so excited to look out the window!  That's kind of sad.

This is Dillan at gymnastics.  He loves it!
Hazel playing with the scarf that I knitted.

I love that she is "reading" on her own.

We had gone outside and played in the snow.  15 minutes of finding warm clothes and getting dressed.  After 5 minutes of playing, Hazel fell right on her face.  Her snowsuit was too small and she couldn't move her arms to catch herself.  You can't really tell from this picture, but her nose is all scraped up and her forehead is all red.
I don't even know what he's doing.   Scuba diving?
Dillan has stopped taking naps.  He was sleeping like this for 40 minutes.  I fed Hazel dinner, then gave her a bath.  He slept right through all of it.  Then Hazel started whacking his face, no more sleeping.
 What a great family!
This is at Willamette University (Kyle's school for his MBA).  They call it the Star Trees.  We are in the middle of 5 huge trees looking straight up.
 Also at the Star Trees.
Dillan got to ride his bike all over campus on our way to the Star Trees.
Awesome low-hanging branch off of one of the trees.  I didn't want to get down!
Our pre-Easter, Easter Egg hunt at Grandma Hardy's.  Hazel caught on pretty quickly!

Dillan loved looking for eggs.  They both loved seeing what was inside.  No candy this year: crackers, sugar-free licorice, sugar-free chocolate(expensive!), glitter, stickers, grow-beans.
